Nice, and that was on the turbo only correct? Man, if you squeezed out of the hole, that is an easy 9 second pass.

Yeah Boost only , didn't spray it because it was shutting off on me on the shifts. Got that figured out already so will be going back soon . Might change the gear to a 3.27 and head back to try again.

Looking at the N/A list, in terms of record holders, shouldn't Qwikhuh line#7 be a record holder with stock heads/stock cams? Seems to me he mentioned being stock "throttlebody to oil pan"...

Just a thought...

i do agree, it would be nice to have a stock internals "list" like the ls1 guys do. (i used to be one!)
no cams, headwork, big bored/stock heads......STOCK motor. tb and deletes would be ok, but thats it. :hi:

Wasn't Ron Leonards car totally stock block?

Crap, you're right. His "stock block" record was removed from the list when he dropped a new record with his built 5.4l. Don/Paul, I think we may need to add Ron Leonard's 4.6l record back in, as that bit of history is lost to us in the current sheet....what think?

Not my best runs ever, but the best day I had a back up run to count for the list here....

2007 Mustang GT Coupe...
  • 281 CI (4.6L 3V). Completely stock, except the blower (see below).
  • 5R55S Automatic Trans, completely stock except for the converter (Fuddle Racing 3600 rpm stall converter).
  • Vortech V2 S-trim - standard (non-intercooled).
  • 10.5 psi boost at 6,400 rpm shift points.
  • 4.10 FRPP gears in an otherwise completely stock 8.8" rear end.
  • 275/40/17 BFG Drag Radials.
  • Race Weight = 3,650 lbs (includes me).
I'm car #4164 in the right lane for both passes (Pacific Raceway near Seattle, WA)...

I was scratching my head and wondering what time system NPR used. I have ran quicker times at a Accutime track but faster mph at a compulink. Don't know if one timing system favors time or et just an observation. I can tell you one thing though, that convertor damn sure locked up on the 1/8 mile.
