the video for the GT, after a "dyno" test, puts the power at 435 HP and 404 TQ. No who and the hell did ford blow at MotorTrend for a result like that. 350-370 HP at best from a stock motor w/ no modifications. Just a stupid video in my opinion.

well of course the V6 is going to brake and corner better than the GT; the V6's engine weighs significantly less. Less mass equals better braking and cornering. Just ask lotus. Or... GT500 folks.

The V6 has to stop faster, it's for girls.

I'll take the extra foot in stopping distance for the 412HP.. thanks!

The added benefit of the Brembo package is that, if successive braking tests are done, the GT won't be adding too much more to that distance and braking will remain relatively consistent while the V6 braking will degrade and the distances will suffer.

In my opinion, the GT is an aggressive car that likes to be, is built to be , and responds well to being driven hard. The V6 is an exceptionally stout performer that won't disappoint. But, while some of these test numbers are close (lateral g's, braking), some are not (acceleration). The figure-8 speed is a good indication of how well the GT's suspension handles the extra weight.

While the V6 is no slouch, I won't consider anything other than the GT. But hey...that's just me!
