Guys, I don't mind the spirited debate. But it's pretty much breaking down to just arguments. Keep that out of tech please.

Not my results SD! You could very well be right. I had no drop in boost on my pulls either. Which i agree more flow should show less boost seems to be the trend. My swap was done same day in 110 degree heat. The difference was plus or minus .2 boost on the before and after runs.

Heres my graph

With a turbo you won't see a difference in boost. For the most part you will make the same peak boost numbers regardless, though spool time can change. For a Supercharged car the boost will vary since the boost is dictated by pulley size.

I do see the difference SD. To be totally honest I've seen differences like that in back to back dynopulls on my car. I don't think I'm experiencing any belt slip so I don't have a good explanation for why its happening on my car besides maybe valve float.

all I want to know is can you take this up to 7.5k ....so far it doesnt look like a strong performer at that range .

Well did a back to back test with the frpp intake and I'm not to pleased with the reaults. Lost a fair amount of midrange hp and tq gained and held from 6000-6700rpms. This was after being tuned as well. Direct swap with no adjustments netted no gain. Additionally I already had the econo plates and 62mm bbk tb on the car. I'm working off my iPhone right now so I cant post pics or anything like that but I will on Monday once I get home

My boost is a set amount as well. The wastgate is set to 35 duty cycle with the ebc. Which yields around 12 psi for me.

The duty cycle of wastegate will make different boost amounts on different setups.

That pull (red) was only to 4500 rpms it was lean so mike had to let out. blue was baseline done an hour or so earlier at 102 degrees and then after frpp manifold swap on the dyno (red line) it was 110 degrees. It still made 30hp 20 tq at 3500 rpms right after full spool, both pulls iats maxed and pulled timing.

Regardless of what it does, it would be nice for some of the other guys with these to look and report what theirs are doing.

Yes my manifold flexes. When you blip the throttle It looks like the manifold blows up like a balloon then comes back down off throttle.

Mine does the same with revs. Had my son just push it to 2 to 3k and I didn't notice any changes. JDM wants to see this thing in action. I'm not sure if I should be worried or not. It is an interesting site to see your engine really alive.

Technically it shrinks. It gets pulled in under vacuum, then back to it's normal shape under throttle (no vacuum).
negative, it collapses in when under throttle and then returns to normal after it returns to vaccum...movement occurs on mine when I hit the throttle and then goes away when I release it.....
