Call this an ignorant guess, but could it be without any other supporting mods the motor just can't get any more air in or out in it's current configuration? :2cents:

That makes sense...but what about this:

Boost is a measurement of back pressure right? Even if the motor isn't capable of producing more power due to restrictions (no supporting mods)...wouldn't I have at least seen an increase in the boost number even though there wasn't any more power being made?

Also...in the lower rpms when the motor is not at max capacity...shouldn't there have been an increase in power/torque in the lower rpms?

I would bet you're experiencing belt slip. I don't remember the #s, but I definitely saw gains each time I changed my set-up. I first added the 10% OD pulley, saw gains, added the smaller blower pulley and 90 MM idler, saw gains, then added the nitrous, off-road X, and 100 octane tune, and saw more gains.

I dont' think it's belt slip. First off...we didn't hear any and didnt' see any dips in the graphs.

I also have a 90mm idler pulley and a Roush tensioner....belt slippage at this level shouldn't be a problem.

Don't think so, the stock motor makes more power with bigger blowers.

You went against yourself on that one, a bigger compressor would have more power to force more air through.

To the op your still making good numbers for that blower. Just enjoy it!

????? So again the motor wouldn't be the restriction, just like with the M90?

What do you mean by upgraded intake? The one from Roush that came with the blower? Or have you upgraded to a larger MAF housing and open element filter?

Hes talking about the "upgrade package" that comes from JDM or vmp tuning. I'm sorry, so far these #'s and time are not swaying me.

I don't know what numbers or times you are referring to, nor was I attempting to sway anyone. I was trying to help Mustang30212 figure out what his problem was.

No I'm sorry. We have been talking on my post about the capability of the M90 blower. And I just brought a response over here. He has 12.6 w/ the M90 and I'm 12.8 without. It is perfect if you never plan to grow. But w/ the TVS theres PLENTY to grow with. Now if I was a full bolt on head/cams, long tubes. It would be perfect. But losing my minor bolts on that go away with a power adder. I'd be throwing this on basically a stock car
