Port the blower and add longtubes
Call this an ignorant guess, but could it be without any other supporting mods the motor just can't get any more air in or out in it's current configuration?![]()
I would bet you're experiencing belt slip. I don't remember the #s, but I definitely saw gains each time I changed my set-up. I first added the 10% OD pulley, saw gains, added the smaller blower pulley and 90 MM idler, saw gains, then added the nitrous, off-road X, and 100 octane tune, and saw more gains.
I dont' think it's belt slip. First off...we didn't hear any and didnt' see any dips in the graphs.
I also have a 90mm idler pulley and a Roush tensioner....belt slippage at this level shouldn't be a problem.

How much boost are you making?
With just the 10% OD pulley, I believe my car made ~7-7.5 PSI. With the smaller pulley, I make 8.5 - 9 PSI.7-8 lbs

You did upgrade to the 90mm intake right??
You did upgrade to the 90mm intake right??
????
Gotcha...yes it has the upgraded intake.

Don't think so, the stock motor makes more power with bigger blowers.

You went against yourself on that one, a bigger compressor would have more power to force more air through.
To the op your still making good numbers for that blower. Just enjoy it!
What do you mean by upgraded intake? The one from Roush that came with the blower? Or have you upgraded to a larger MAF housing and open element filter?
Hes talking about the "upgrade package" that comes from JDM or vmp tuning. I'm sorry, so far these #'s and time are not swaying me.
