how can I say no to someone that calls my car " bitch"? ;-)
I took it to work and will meet u at the track.
Had Eaton Truetrack and a set of 4.10s installed.. Whats the "best" way to break these in and how many miles?
I kind of want to hit the raceway tomorrow =-)
+1 on the 500 miles. Most people usually seem to recommend 500 miles or so on new gears before thrashing on them.
Having said that, I am sure that there will be plenty of other opinions on number of miles for a break in, or no break in, or both.
So go drive the damn car. Quit wasting time posting shit and get your miles in before tomorrow.

So give it to Stanley and he'll break it... in for you!Kind of hard to do when I'm rolling around in my AT&T truck :-/
What he said, every rear end setup I have ever had from someone with a clue came with those same instructions...My installer said the 500 mile break in story is just a story. The best way to break them in is to drive until they get to operating temp, and then shut down and let the rear end cool down completely. do this about 3 times and your set. I did this and have ZERO problems with my FRPP 4.10's
