then what is causing this code (
P0151
O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
"Bank2 sensor 1" is the DS O2 sensor in the header/manifold...

Could be shorted or melted, but generally speaking this means it not doing well...

It's a little hard to see as it harnessed to the back of the DS cylinder head, but if you get the car up, you should be able to look up above the DS header/manifold flange and see the sensor and the pigtail (it is green on both my cars). Check that it isn't resting on the exhaust or otherwise FUBAR (unplugged, loose in the manifold, etc...). If not, you might just replace it - it's "fun" to get to:evil:

You guys are A-holes. I was getting ready to convince Ted that we needed to race 1 last time (my last night N/A, hopefully) and now you have him worried about that stupid engine-thingy again.

Suddenly, I am interested in that death pool...

Can you put me down for 2 weeks - Roper throws a rod while breaking his input shaft?

I know of the one your talkin about. I'm wondering if that could have been the main issue long ago.(just covered up) You can open loop or stop certain codes from coming up. Should I try to test or replace it?

Its cool man.. I'm just burnt with this thing. Every time I think about all the issues I get mad.. until I burn some local rice on the road or a prius

If Stanley uses his silver tongue, I predict a smelly yellow manual will blow like the deathstar on Wed.

Well, first check it out to see if there is something obvious - not all the way plugged in or melted on the header...

I wouldn't bother "testing it" if not - just replace it... As I recall you have dumped a fair amount of fuel in there at times from the plug and the cam SNAFU before that, so it could be cause or effect...

Firs things first, get some eyeballs on that puppy...

BTW, filed under stranger things have happened - I believe that sensor's wire is the one that goes over the bellhousing and if not held up, can fall down between the block and bellhousing when you are yelling at the transmission telling to "get the !@#$ in there!"...

So, check the pigtail as well as the wire the goes over to the otherside...

Ted, are you running headers on your car? Could it be that your tune is not compensating for relocated O2 sensors further down stream. That would also explain the way it rev's when cold, among other cold start issues. The O2's take longer heat up when further down.

I'm not betting on Ropers engine failure, I think he's smarter than that, he's had influences to learn from................ But, if it happens I bet $100 bucks it takes less than a year to put back together bigger and better.

"Ghoul Pool" requires PMs or emails. $50 to get in. I should up that buy-in, just in case my car ever gets mentioned. Ted - Don't listen to these guys/gals. They have no idea how S197s work. Besides, if your car broke, I could take you home. And on the way there we could stop for lap-dances, MY TREAT!

Ted, I don't care how many lapdances Roper performs for you - it isn't worth it...
