The current tuner keeps insisting that the CMPs are turned off in the tune. However, every two key cycles it comes back again, P151A.
Well that only leaves a few options:
1. the tuner is full of shit
2. the tune is not loaded
3. the car is full of shit...

I'm going with #3 in this case, but it's the exception not the rule:samuri:

You guys thought I was lost.. I called Steeda tech support today and told them I have their delete plates and just wanted to know the code that comes up if its not put in the tune....

Answer: " Ahhhhh.. it will run like shit."
Me: " I understand that, but in your tests what obd2 error?"
Answer: "Ahhhhhh... ummmmm... I dont know"
Me: " Hummmmm... so no one there knows at all?"
Answer: (1 second later (too F'ing lazy to really ask)) "No"

If someone can do a test for me and load the current tune they have and change your cmrc setting and load it in the car. You should not need to drive. Just start it up and run for a min then shut off and start again. See if the code comes up. Then you can reload it back.[/quote]

Ted and I tried this, i went back to my stock tune and got no error codes, which is strange becasue just after i installed the CMP Del's i was throwing error codes, (Stanley may remember what they were) this time here no error codes on stock and obviously none when i went back to the performance tune.....i am lost on this...i would think tune needs to be adjusted or redone since initially it was tunned to an engine with a HEADER PIPE DISCONNECTED. :naughty:..Just my .02 cents on this

Couple of possibilities:
a. I don't suppose you disconnected the butterflies but left the CMCV motor in place and connected?
b. this particular code seems to require more than one run cycle to report/detect...

I have noticed a few codes like that - in between mods I ended up with no IAT connected... Car ran 2x time with no complaints, then the third fire up - I got a code that reported the voltage on the IAT sensor was FUBAR.

Ted, I am not sure what you are chasing down at this point? You are seeing P151A right? P151A is a code which is consistent with CMCV's disconnected without adjustment in the tune...

Maybe if you try your new Comcast digital phone service it would give a different answer?

Actuator motor is not on the car. Once cleared, the error comes up after two key cycles. Just for Shits and giggles, I plugged in a Predator (Ted uses SCT) and the Predator states no trouble codes found.

I think the recent tuner is jerking him around. Now back to the important car...
