:thumb2: It's cool, we all need to drunken rant every once in awhile. To answer your rant, I'd suspect that a boat load of R&D dollars were poured into the BOSS because it was such a huge deal for Ford. The 3v intake was just another generic part to get lost in the Ford Racing catalog. But the BOSS intake was required to give the 2012 BOSS the extra oomph over the stock GT.

4v>3v>2v (although 2v's have better aftermarket support imo)

as 05-10 cars get cheaper and older (like the new edge cars), more aftermarket parts will become available.

only reason why the boss intake came out so soon is because of the production car. had the 2008 bullitt, for example, came with a better intake, it would have likely ended up resulting in an frpp variation sooner.

Yes. Adding a misplaced valve does not add power potential.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. I bet this douchebag really is that 2SSArmytakeitinthebutt guy. If he uses a different handle and avatar it will take longer for people to figure out who he is.

\Nobody cares about 320 rwhp.
Just because you don't "care about" 320 rwhp doesn't mean "nobody" does. I've got an equation for you smarty pants. BBF>4valve...oh burn bitch. lol.

I would love a new 5.0 but guess I will have to make due with my 4.6 3v and bow down to the almighty coyote. lol...gotta love internet arguments.

Well, I was talking about small blocks. Yeah, the big boys are better from both companies. However, the fastest 4v is faster than the fastest LSX.

You are a little late for this conversation.

I love the new coyote engine, but I can't bring myself to go into debt 2X,XXX just to get it. Besides when you have a 600 & 1000 in the garage it's kind of a moot point.

you never answered my question. ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT PUSHRODS OR MODULAR 2V'S. if you are talking about pushrods then you're stupid for not clarifying. if you're talking about modulars then you're just stupid.

Lets see, my 2v w/ DR's, CAI, Pullies and Tune barely broke into the 13's. My 3v which weighs more, same mods. 12.8. I don't know. Sounds faster to me

Lrn2drv. I ran an 8.79 1/8th in my 01 Bullitt stock down to the paper filter, air silencer, and tires with 7k on the clock. Then a few years later ran a 13.80 at hub with exhaust and 380 treadware tires.

Yes, I'm a lurker.:)
