I am thinking 4V = LSX because even though the greatest 4V is 200 hp up on the LSx there are more fast LSx motors over all the LSx family than there are fast 4V's and I mean 8 second and faster. Also N/A to N/A the LSX > 4V.

N/A they are faster because they have a huge cube advantage. Still doesn't change the fact that the fastest 4V is faster than the fastest LSX. I'll agree that they are equal for us mortals, but the people with unlimited money go faster with a 4V.

One guy at this point, runs faster than the fastest 4V's by equally as wide of a margin almost as the nearest LSx. I think its arguable because the fastest N/A LSx crushes the fastest N/A 4V. Also Mihovetz will never share with anyone how he builds his engine, so money won't buy you a motor running as hard as his 4V.

So yes the fastest between the two outright is the 4V, but there are more 8 second or quicker LSx's than there are 4V's. But still both of those pale in comparison to the BBC or BBF.

give it a few years and compare agian. But i'll honestly be suprised if we see 130+ trap speeds from an NA 4V like some of the LS7's are capable of.

I like the LSX, but of course it is stronger N/A. Hell, you can get 440 cubes out of those things lol. Poor little 4.6's, 5.0's, and 5.4's can't compete with that without a power adder.

I could care less about a LS7. You can build a much better LSX for way less money.
