Oh, yeah. I forgot that.

I use Snappy Pad cleaner, available anywhere you buy pads.

And I don't use any kink of wheel cleaner anymore. I use a separate mitt of sponge for wheels and I just use the same soap I use on my car. I used to use Diablo, but my wheels never really get dirty enough to need a special cleaner.

But DO NOT use your wash mitt on your wheels and then use it on your car!!!!!!!!

Hopefully, from the first page of the sticky, everyone knows about the two buckets, Grit guards, etc.

I now use Arnold Sheepskin wash mitts instead of the MF sponges (thanks again Nasty)

And I also use either my pressure washer foam gun or my regular water hose with a Gilmour Foam Master II to pre-foam my car then rinse it before actually touching the car with a mitt.

What would you suggest for using to get the black air house for our intakes and interior. I heard around that back to black or some forever black trim cleaner was pretty good for that.

Are you just talking about dressing them? If so Meguiar's Hyperdressing at 3:1 or 4:1 depending on how shiny you want them (hoses, intake)

What part of the interior are you talking about? I don't use anything on my interior except my leather. Most stuff will do more damage than good, IMO

I see you are selling your wheels. What's next?

I'm really leaning toward some of these in 20" staggered if mine sell. . . . If not I'm ok with keeping them.

Hyperdressing comes very concentrated. At 1 part dressing and 1 part water, it's super shiny. Way too shiny, IMO

At 1 part dressing and 4 parts water, it's much more of a satin muted finish.

I pretty much use it at about 1 part dressing and 3 parts water for tires. Makes them look black, but not fake black.

Most people want it at 1 part dressing and 4 parts water for engine stuff, though.

Hyperdressing is awesome for tires. Not sticky and greasy like black magic, etc. Not full of silicone so it's not messy and doesn't dry out your rubber.

Plus, by the time you buy a gallon and make 4-5 gallons, it's way cheaper than buying $5 cans of tire wet.

Ok here's a doozy, a Mustang guy I know told me he only wipes his down with "Windex"... I cant beleive there is a shred of any wax left on it. My question is, What can I tell him he is doing to the paint by doing that? I assume prematurly drying it out i.e. new paint job in the future? I would never do it but I need a better reason than that to give next time the subject comes up.

Are the polishes basically M105/M205 you think?

I found a video (looked more like an informercial) via Google search and that was what I took away from it. That is why I am interested in this kit. I have been putting off detailing my car until it got warmer here in the Philly area and we are almost there (I hope, lol). I had made a list from following and asking questions in this section and have been putting off ordering anything.
