6060 swap finished now driveshaft?

6060 swap is complete. My question is will I be ok to use to Powerhouse 3650 length driveshaft just to break in my new clutch? I mean very easy driving no hot roding at all. The slip yoke has about 1/4inch left in compression travel. I remember Chad05gt swearing you could use a spydershaft but to me the slip yoke needs more travel room. I am still all factory on suspension and ride height. What do yall think?

I would check while loading and unloading the rear suspension. To make sure it doesnt comrpess too much and is not going to bind. My coast was okay on the body lift until they loaded the suspension and then there was no play it was fully compressed, i have cj drag springs on the car.

FWIW I'm on the same dynotech I had with a 3650 for 11 months now. No issues.

Damn guys I might be able to fit a piece of card board between the flange and the adapter. Thats all the play I have in my slip yoke. I am worried that I might compress it too much just by sitting in the car lol..... Question, if I was to go to a parts store, would I just buy a shelby gt500 driveshaft? Or is what I need a custom piece

You just need a GT500 driveshaft. Or some have their current shaft cut/rebalanced.

I went to a shaftmasters 3.5" aluminum ds for a gt500.

I had mine cut down 1/2" I took it apart at the slip joint, cut 1/2 off DS and spline, put it back together and bal, works GREAT.

Cost $45.00 !

There's a thread on here somewhere where one of the vendors are selling take-off driveshafts for really cheap.
