A guy on SVTP ran 10.60 something his first time ever on a drag strip in a new GT500.Lol how much experience does it take with that fancy dual clutch?
Of course an automatic takes very little to no skill, but still if an amateur can go 10.66 at 132, it would be reasonable to say a pro can do more.Lol how much experience does it take with that fancy dual clutch?
I wouldn't expect much more out of a truly stock car.Of course an automatic takes very little to no skill, but still if an amateur can go 10.66 at 132, it would be reasonable to say a pro can do more.

Since the GT500 has launch control, even a monkey would get an ET in the 10s. The key figure is the 133mph trap speed. Assuming a race weight of 4400lb, this would suggest the car puts down around 700rwhp.
524 rwtq? What's the Ford rated tq figure?
Curious how much rwtq difference between an auto and manual? I've been told 13% is number for computing drivetrain loss.
Roush numbers:
750hp 670lft
0-60 3.6 seconds
11.2s quarter mile no speed listed
1.07 lateral g
I'd seen the 775 hp earlier, now on the Stage 3 website it shows 750hp, that is where I pulled the numbers from. For 2020, Roush boosted the numbers to 775hp & 670lbft to eclipse the GT500 by 15hp & 45lbft.
