Ran at Famoso 1/4 mile last night, Friday TNT, and ran over 128 mph 3 times.
New best ET of 10.672 @ 128.42 mph! But here is the best part---I ran a 6.81 in the 1/8th on that pass---well off of my 6.74 best. This car has a 10.5X in it.

I met SD Wheeler up there---checked out his TT car---that is an awesome set up. 8lbs, STOCK motor, with CATS, and has a CARB number for us CA guys. A TT that is smog legal and runs 10's on 8lbs. He did it again last night with a 10.92 @ 125mph. That is an awesome set up.

Here is a video of my new best:
2005 Whipple Mustang GT 10.67 @ 128mph

Paul, very nice pass my friend. I may actually have to scrape some pennies together so I can go this Friday with ya to Cal Speedway. BTW, when I watched the vid, it sounded like there was a slight hesitation just before the 1-2 shift; did you notice anything in the pass?

Yeah, definite missed shift on the 1-2. It does that when the car is cold. I was the very first car in line after about an hour wait. They ran 4 other lanes, then reprepped the track, then I was first up. It does that when the trans is cold I noticed, but if I have the normal amount of moving up the line to the burnout box it doesn't do it. I am sure that little hesitation didn't help the et any......

Thanks! With that mph I think I can bust into the 10.5X's

Awesome Paul!!:beer: And great vids as usual!

When are we going to Barona? Or Fontana? You got head up hahahaha

Wow, thats pretty much all I can say....that thing just moves out!

Yep, the right suspension set up is key.

Great run and great video also. Congrats

Thanks Ed---when are we all going to Barona?

Alot of street cars, but not too bad. I ran 4 times, could have ran 5 or 6 times if I hurried back into the lanes.

Awesome, congrats on your new best.

Love watching your car run, it really moves out well. Nice in-car video.

When are the PH Turbo V6's returning to the track?

nice time !!
& you got the driver mod :)

Thanks. No driver mod though, its an auto. I just keep it straight and stare at the a/f guage.

Well, it's not quite a V6 anymore!
Mike @ PH met me at the track on Saturday. We had some tweaking on the tune to do, but it should be good to go now. Unfortunately I have a summer cold, but Mike took it down the track for me to get a shakedown run.
It put down a 10.704 @ 129.7 w/ a crappy 1.66 60' so far.
The rear Bogarts are due to arrive soon and will wrap them in 325/50/15's to address the launching.
Soon as I can get seat time I will start posting ET's again.
My goal is to be able to get the car launching as consistently as you do. I might have to hire you as my driver :thumb:

Edit: DA was 3894 on that run.

Thats amazing considering the DA, and the fact that the car was launched at only 2k. It's a low 10 second car easy. With a negative DA (say MIR fall track rental), and some ice, I think you could see 9's. I also think there is more MPH in it.

I should have a baseline for my car this Saturday at Thompson meeting up with a few members that post here.

What does that mean? LOL---or did I miss the engine build thread.

EDIT: Ok, I just went to your website----I guess a 5.4 isn't a V6 anymore. That thing is definitely going to end up in the 9's when its all said and done.
