It would be nice if Shaggy and the current Moderators would enforce the following.

THREAD TRASHING/INSULTS/THREATS=PINK/BAN

For now on, if someone is getting threads of track, or insulting other
members, they will be warned to knock it off the first time and then pinked if they do not stop.
If they are sending any threats, they will pinked the
first time, then banned for good the next. I'm tired of the childish behavior,
thread derailing and insults to other members. It's not adding anything
positive to this site. The forum is here for us to learn more about our cars
and help each other out, not to talk crap to each other. ANYONE posting
someone else's personal information on the board will be removed from the
board! We can not police the site 100% of the time or 100% of the
threads/posts so we rely on you the members to help keep everything
under control and on track. I'm not saying you can't argue at all or
disagree, I just want to keep the threads as clean as possible and avoid
things getting too heated between people. We thank you guys for making
this site what it is!

You know I saw your post last night and thought to myself to wait and think before replying to you.

I think the below in your signature says it all.

About Gabe

Location NH

Interest Anything Automotive

Occupation Smart Ass

Name
Gabe

.

So you quote info from my profile page (not my signature, by the way), but fail to reply with something that makes sense.

My guess is, because you can't.

There is NO common sense to these numbers you make up, other than it suits your new license plate and your new stickers that will probably take Brenspeed a month to install.

Sounds appropriate. Thanks for all your positive input Gabe!

You're welcome! :highfive:

All I know is I like Mustangs, I like Terry's Mustang and I like Gabe's Mustang they have both shown great examples of what can be done to these cars but on different levels, I hope neither one stops letting us in on the details. the bottom line is it's their car, they can do what they want and more power to them, if someone doesn't like it look for another post,I refuse to criticize either of these gentlemen as they have don a heck of a lot more to their cars than I have!

Hey Duane,

It would be a very boring world if all of us had the exact same things.

Mustangs are the same way.
Some of us prefer one color, Modded, V-8, automatic, hardtop etc.
Some guys have 22" chrome wheels or custom painted wheels.
Then there are those that much prefer the completely stock Mustang as Ford built it.
There are those that have a great deal of talent and can do the majority of the changes on their Mustang.
Others don't have the talent and have the performance shop of their choice do their work.
There are street legal cars and then there are the real street cars that can be driven anywhere at anytime weather permitting.
There are those that prefer the SCCA or road racing.
Those that are really into drag racing.

The point being as you say we are all different in what our own personal preferences are.
There is no need to criticize the other person for what they like.
IMHO it is far better to try our best to appreciate the other guy and what he has.
The opposite is to degrade, hate-on, and bitch the other person out and what really does that accomplish, nothing.

Terry, love the burn out photos looks like you had good track hook up that day.

If by "you had good...", you mean someone other than him driving/racing his car, than you sir would be correct!!! :thumb2:

I have new license plate for my focus coming, went with "150R", next off to BRENSPEED for the install. Should be done around Thanksgiving!

And if you comedians are done now maybe the rest of us can get this back on track if your completely finished.

And for those that think their being clever about Brenspeed installing the new license plate I just sent them.

If you know how to get that plate on the car with it being 500 miles away from where I am I'm all ears.

If on the other hand your really that stupid and just maybe you are.

Go take your stupid completely unnecessary comments somewhere else and off this thread.

You know there is being funny and then at some point the funny turns into pathetic.

Enough already !!!

Terry: any updates on your brothers Z06?

Andy,

Here is what is going on with the 2015 Z-06 order.
I have the order number so I have been checking on it to see what's up.
I checked on it a few weeks ago with G/M.
It is still at the dealer order bank and has not been pulled by G/M to put into production.
My brother called the dealership in Louisville, KY. like a week ago.
He was told basically what G/M told me when I went On-Line and checked.
He was also told that the reason it has not been pulled is because of the lower C/F (Carbon Fiber) ground effects package.
The company supplying it apparently either has not shipped enough of those packages or some other issue with them.
So the wait continues ........
He is not going to change his order as he wants it as he ordered it.
This will be his last Vette so he wants it his way so he will just wait it out.

Similar situation with him as it is with me on mine.
I want it a certain way so I had to be willing to also wait things out.
We might think things can go as fast as we want but in reality that's just not the case.
Brother is waiting because of 3rd party vendor just like Brenspeed waiting on multiple 3rd party vendors.
Sometimes even though we might have the necessary funds has nothing to do with how fast things can be done.

His Z-06 with the performance Z-07 package is going to IMHO be an awesome machine.

It will be something similar to the pictures below and the color is right.
His will have the C/F removable roof panel and not painted in matching Yellow color as body.

Andy,

Well my man there is at least two of us that want to see both those machines. :thumb2:

I'm wondering now since in 2-days including today we will be in April if mine will be ready on April 18th.
I'm a pretty darn positive thinking person generally speaking.
But the TCI SSF (Super Street Fighter) is I think still at TCI in Memphis, TN. to have it completely freshened up.
That means it has to get shipped back to Brenspeed by truck and that I know takes time.
Well we shall see how things go at Brenspeed.
I know they can reinstall the tranny easily and the rest of what needs completed is not all that difficult.
So if the tranny gets back soon then just maybe the rest of it will fall into place.
If not I ain't gonna get all torn-up over it.
Heck I've waited this long so whats a little more time really.

Speaking of the brother's Z-06 I did hear from him.
The hold-up is the C/F Lower-Body-Kit.
He called and talked to that dealership and they confirmed that's the hold-up.

If you guys ever race for pinks, my money is on the Bullitt!
Well who knows that Z-06 with the Z-07 "Performance" package will be an awesome ride I'm thinking.
If I can get him to do it maybe we will get to try them out just to see how strong a little tiny 302 Cubic Inch Mustang would be to the Mighty Z-06 Vette.

I love that Z06! Awesome car! Once the kids move out I'm getting one! Going to be a few more years...oh well I've got the mustang till then to play with.

Jeff,

Hey buddy I can understand you having to wait on that sort of thing.
The majority of the guys I know have children like yourself.
Obviously the family comes 1st. :thumb2:
With my brother and I we are older guys, brother had 1-child, I had none.
So at this stage in our lives we can have these Big-Boy-Toys.
Only speaking for my brother and I these will more than likely be our last machines like these.
I'm sure I won't be doing this sort of thing again so I decided to go all out with mine.

Hey it ain't to SHABBY to have a Mustang instead of the new Vette now is it.

Great news from Brent this afternoon ............

Guys,

Up-Date as of this afternoon from Brent at

He said the TCI SSF just arrived yesterday so it now is ready to be reinstalled.
He also mentioned that TCI also sent the TCI Special tranny fluid for it.

The person to do the side graphics is going to do their thing.

They will complete the gauge, wiring, custom panel for the NOS.
(The SOS custom control panel came in)

The new M/T tires will be going next week to The Tire Barn for install.

The UPR adjustable rear coil over suspension will be done.

Plus the tuning for 93-octane fuel and the new shift schedule for the TCI SSF with the larger M/T tires.

What all that means is everything has came in that was special ordered.

So now this last project can be completed in a very timely manner.

That is going to give Brent all kinds of time to be able to totally test the Bullitt.
He can put some serious miles on it as he sees fit.
All that will be concluded before we drive up to pick it up.

Sometimes things do actually come together and fall into place.
