^^ Absolutely.

To this day Ford still claims the Pinto was a great little economy car.

Don't hate!

^^ Absolutely.

That was some interesting reading but it wasn't the empirical analysis that I asked for. In case you don't know, empirical data means when an impartial body does an analysis of a subject and gives detailed information as to the variances between the two. All I saw in all of those articles was opinions, sales pitch, and hype, disguised as fact. One of them even quotes Ford, that is a joke in itself. As if Ford would ever say anything bad about their products. To this day Ford still claims the Pinto was a great little economy car. All the others you quoted are car publications which have a vested interested n producing an interesting, exciting, but somewhat less than factual set of information for their readers. If the publications put out all the negative information about any vehicle, 1-The car manufacturers would never let them near their vehicles again, and 2-People would stop reading them because people always like to get good news.

A "Head and shoulder" difference (to quote you) would be between a 1969 and an 2009, but from the 2009 to the 2010 it is merely a refinement of what was already there. The SYNC option that they make such a big deal of I already have in my car but it went by a different name. I can control a bluetooth phone with voice commands no problem. I agree with RED09GT that there are a lot of benefits to the dash and vehicle that we have which is much more modular and parts can easily be swapped out and still have them look like they belong. In the 2010 if anything goes wrong with your dash you are stuck with a crappy looking replacement or a stock unit. Face it PACETTR this is an argument you are not going to win no matter how much you keep trying.

You're obviously the guy that likes to argue with the wall.

This is an argument that i have ALREADY won, but I'm working today so burying you further sounds like a good opportunity to pass time.

You have stated an OPINION. I have stated FACTS and opinion. It IS a fact that the 2010 interior is better. Better materials. Better build quality. Closer tolerances. ALL better. I have even quoted sources for these facts.

Let me help you with one of those big words you are attempting to use to make yourself sound smart...

l)

adj. 1.
a. Relying on or derived from observation or experiment: empirical results that supported the hypothesis.
b. Verifiable or provable by means of observation or experiment: empirical laws.

2. Guided by practical experience and not theory, especially in medicine.

The below excerpt is from a Ford press release. I fail to how you would dismiss the manufacturer as a viable source regarding the materials used and manufacturing processes.

The foundation of this world-class interior is a new, one-piece soft instrument panel exquisitely crafted in seamless TPO (Thermoplastic Olefin) skin, fully encompassing textured or genuine aluminum-finish panels. Morales said extending the soft skin and foam around the center stack was critical not only for better appearance and craftsmanship, but also to provide a softer, more comfortable rest for the driver’s leg.

To further drive home this point, several have commented in this thread confirming the more comfortable center stack with regards to leg comfort.

I would sum up my point by noting that every source I quoted is more than qualified to provide empirical analysis of automobiles. If you think they are pandering to the manufacturers, you haven't read many of these articles in the past. They often decry the vehicles made by these same manufacturers. Usually there are at least mixed reviews on any given vehicle. In this instance, there is no opinion to the contrary (except yours, which would be considered less than insignifigant; emperically speaking, of course).

I would be happy to explore your point further by reading some sources you can provide to prove otherwise...

Dude you obviously have no life and derive enjoyment out of arguments. If there was really a point in continuing this I would but I see none since I really don't care what you say and you will never change my mind so further review of your so called arguments are pointless. If you wish to continue arguing with the wall feel free to do so, but since I do have a life and a reason for living, I grow weary of your nonsense. If you want to call it a victory that I grew tired of your babble, please enjoy your silly victory. By all means, I love letting someone from the special Olympics have their win.

You made my point AND my day. If you'll look back, YOU actually started the so-called "argument"; I just ended it.

I can't "change your mind" about facts. I would LOVE for you to dig your hole further and attempt to refute anything I have posted. I even gave YOU a definition to a word YOU used so that you could better grasp its meaning. You obviously lack the capacity to do so.

Working on a holiday sucks, but satisfaction from showing how ignorant you are offers at least some small consolation.

Thanks!!!

Isn't the 2010 GT, at least mechanically, a 2009 Mustang Bullitt Edition? Sure, there aren't that many upgrades, but there are upgrades/improvements over the stock 09 GT. I went with the 09 GT just because the arrival of the 2010 model made the 2009 model so affordable. I don't especially like the butts of the 2010s either, but the front looks so good, combined with the interior improvement, that the ugly butt doesn't really matter. Love the 2010s in Kona Blue.

Ummmm...you're gonna need to provide some empirical data to justify those claims...

DUde who the hell cares. Squeeks and rattles from the dash shouldnt even happen in the first place. Therefore, the data on the dash being 33% less squeeky or whatever is useless.
I PERSONALLY dont find anything wrong with the 05+ interior. It has a radio, it has AC, it has an instrument panel. OK thats all I freakin need because im gonna be concentrating on my driving. All of the other crap is just bullshit.

Big Jim Slade WOULD NOT give 2 shits about ipod hook-ups, quieter dashes, or softer leather, or any other 'fagmobile' options that don't matter in a MUSCLE CAR.

Big Jim Slade WOULD care about a hideous rear end and what the ladies would think about his 'muscle car' and he would choose an 09' with a built motor and boost...:hijacked:

Right on!

I think what gets lost in adding 'creature comforts' to the Mustang are increased costs (and weight)...
When a Fully Loaded GT has a window sticker of 36K+ ...something is wrong.

Big Jim Slade should do 16hrs straight in the drivers seat and then re-asses his opinion on wether nicer leather and ipod compatabilty is really that big of a necessity (it is). Not saying I like the 2010's but hooking up the ipod to the shaker500 especially after the radio antenna was removed was the single greatest stereo upgrade there will ever be..

I thought muscle cars generally had a lot of factory engine options?

Big Jim Slade would rather listen to the sound of his motor than an ipod playlist...

Also - Big Jim Slade would have bought a luxury car - not a muscle car - if he had to sit in it for 16 hours regularly.

The single greatest stereo upgrade I did was removing it entirely and putting a boost controller in its' place...

Sounds like Big Jim Slade doesn't get to drive his car much. I bet if Big Jim Slade drove it everyday everywhere he'd have his ipod in there.

Big Jim Slade may take a ton of amenities out of the car once it's off DD status. :evillaugh::hijacked:
