With the window off (NOS Launcher), the solenoid WILL cycle with the key in the "ON" position and the engine off when the throttle is opened to the preset voltage. If yours isn't, you need to check everything again.

I had to drill a hole in the intake cover to clear the FPSS.

Man that sucks. I would have tried to run a 90 degree fitting and have the FPSS run horizontally under the cover...or run a braided line to a remote location. Also, I did the test you described when I was installing my kit and checking everything and my solinoids clicked.

I finished up the work in the engine bay today. Once again I had to modify the intake cover to provide clearance for the fuel line.

I routed the purge line out of the horse's mouth in the grill.

Window switch issue has been resolved. I was mistakenly given the wrong wiring diagram which fried my NOS wot/rpm activated window switch. I have since switched over to an NOS mini progressive controller. I hid the brain behind the glovebox. Now I need to decide where I want you run the cable for the handheld controller...anyone have any suggestions?

I decided to route the remote control cable under the console and into the storage compartment. It will be much easier to access for programming.

I went to NANO Nitrous today and purchased a 3000 PSI universal kit directly from the owner Tom. He was very down to earth and easy to deal with. I even got to see his TT Cobra which he said runs 8's in the 1/4. I thought I would be able to purchase a nitrous bottle from NANO too, but he didn't have any 10# bottles in stock.

Alright nitrous gurus. I have reached a point in the install that will require some suggestions/ideas. I will be running a dual billet aluminum nitrous/NANO bottle holder with a 15# nitrous bottle and NANO 3000 kit. I am looking for ideas on how to mount the bottles. I was thinking about using a sheet of 3/16" steel to fabricate a mounting plate that will either be welded or bolted to the left side trunk floor and extended 12"-14" over the spare tire well with a 90 degree bend to form a leg which will be welded or bolted to the spare tire well floor. Shouldn't this support 50# or so? FYI, mounting the bottles on the right side is not an option as I have a Shaker Pro stereo in the car. I have attached a pic of the trunk for visual purposes.

Nice job on the install so far. How big of a shot are you looking to spray? 15# bottle would suggest a healthy shot.

Thanks. Going to squirt a 100 shot to start with, but may eventually increase that to 150.

The NANO eliminates the need for a bottle heater and will add approximately 25% more power. The 15# bottle is the same length as the NANO bottle and I won't have to fill it as often.

I know I used to run nano with my old kit but had a 10# bottle, wouldn't say it adds power but keeps the power constant as its sprayed. Was just asking because that's normally the reason people go with a 15# over a 10# so the pressure drop off isn't as affected while spraying.

Thanks. Were you running the NANO on your 2011 or a different car? Did you have your bottle mounted on the left or right side of the trunk? I have seen several pics of bottles mounted on the left, but no detailed pics showing how the mounting surface was reinforced. I am going to have to get something fabbed up to support both bottles and the mounting bracket which will weigh about 63.4lbs when full.

I was running it in my 2011 on the right side of the trunk I'll see if I can pull some pics up

Thanks John. Do you guys sell a mounting plate to mount the nitrous/NANO bottles on the left side of the trunk in an S197 Mustang? I looked, but didn't see one on Nitrous Outlet's website.

I couldnt find any pics, when I had it I was using billet bottle brackets so I just drilled and tapped the brackets and the nano kit should of came with some brackets that slide into the brackets that usually are with the nitrous kits I then bolted those to the billet brackets.

UPS delivered my 15# N2O bottle and billet bottle bracket today. Now all I need is a mounting plate to mount the bottles.
