Wally and Ben are co-owners. Im not sure of the names of the other 2 guys who work there. I didnt know any of them use to work at strictly.

Correct; Wally knows his shit and has been working on my friends corvette for the last few weeks. Wally actually sent me the dyno and video right after this happened as my friend was there as well.

His text stated "881whp. Procharger p1 boss head with comp stage 3 cams. stock bottom end. Car has meth on it too

Because this video and story keeps persisting around the net, I decided to do some math. :)

Using the graph they posted and knowing it's dyno dynamics, I will predict that car made around 670-700 rwhp. Right where it should by leaning on a P1.

The dyno dynamics dyno measures torque via it's torque cell. So let's just assume it's calculated correctly (might not be)

It says 558 rwtq (peak)

Let's just say peak torque is around 5,000 (their RPM is obviously off causing the problem)

That would mean it makes 559 rwhp at 5,000

Extrapolating that up to low 7,000 RPM range I come up with 667 rwhp.

Remember,

HP = (RPM*TQ)/5252

So if RPM is off, HP will be off.

This works the opposite on a dynojet and why they probably thought having the RPM off wasn't a problem. They must not be familar with their own equipment.

To sum it up,

Dynojet measures HP and calculates Torque. If RPM is off, HP will be correct and Tq will not.

Dyno Dynamics measures TQ and calculates HP. If RPM is off, TQ will be correct and HP will be wrong.

881 with a p1 and meth no way... maybe with giggle gas lol Lets just see a track mph on this thing. I'm so tired with ppl getting off on a huge dyno number only to have non-reflecting mph or get walked by a car with less power and the same weight. Sorry to rant guys

I would be nervous as hell staying WOT for 1 mile on that time bomb, every moment wondering when I would send a rod over to jesus :roflmao:
