That doesnt surprise me one bit Matt, you probably looked over all the individual weights before you purchased....Im looking at getting a DD here soon, I have the bank looking into the loan for me.

Whats sad is that my AWD DD will probably beat me Bullitt at this time...

Depends on the hp... I think Art is going through around 71-7200 when he wen't 11.50

With my TR3650 I was running 4.56 gears with 28" tires and going through the traps at 6200 RPM @ 111 MPH.

I switched to a 26" tire and went through the traps at 6700 RPM @ 111 MPH, but my ET got quicker.

Now I have a 5r55s with 4.10's and 26" tires. I trap at 6000 RPM @ 112 MPH, but the auto helped my ET.

So, pretty much no matter what I did, my MPH never changed more than 1 mph.

The 4.56s are a badass gear on these cars NA, my car performs night and day. But I think I'm gonna step back to the 4.30s when I build mine.

i have enough trouble trying to get tracking with 4.10's, and i have 285/40/18 on the rear which actual equates to a 3.90's.

I cant immagine what 4.56's would be like.

It's Heaven.

Hwy I can down shift to 3rd gear around 90 km's and rape ape. People get mad at me...

From a dig on the street with my 28" 275 Drag radials I can roll it out pretty hard (not dump the clutch of course) and take off like a Champ.

4.30's Min to get the most out of your more then average NA S197. When I saymore then average I look at guys like Chad,John Art, Brandon etc

I would like our project car to have more of a big block feel, I wish there was a big bore or stroker motor that was 6 liters or more to give it a nice say 450 rwhp N/A kick....ok more like 500 rwhp and 450 rwtq....LOL. I think a 6.2 could get there with 4V heads.

My 2010 N/A GT worked best with 4.56's and 28 in Et drags. Low 1.5 60 foots and Mid 11 sec ets were the norm. It would turn some rpm on the highway but I never once trailored it to the track.

Yeah the 4.56s are nice and 3rd gear with the TR3650 pulls like a train, they are alot of fun. On the highway I see 70-72mph @ 2600-2700

I have about 35K miles on my 4.56's... lovely... 1000miles +1 way... still in... still quiet...

6.2 modular is so new.. give it some time im sure someone will try to make it work. Really? I like having this tiny V8 Scream above 7000... we can make 450 hp with a build bottom end set up for a NA set up...put 11:1 compression on a NA 3 valve and watch it do wonders. Even stock cubic inch.. we have strokers just not big cubes.

Its all in the combo, Look at what we are doing with stock bottom end's right now. These 3 valve S197's actually responded great for NA mod's if you think about it. One of the few gen's of mod motors capable of doing so. (previous to release the new 5.0 modular) The older 4 valve 4.6 cars could make good power but with alot of things needed and the combo's usually netted 370-390hp on pump gas.

I am so happy with my motor combo , on 9:8 compression. 400wrhp is hard to get NA period on small cubic inch. We are getting the easiest NA power in this day in age considering what a 302 H.O had to do for 400hp at the tire.

I choose to stay modular because how high tech our v8's have really come and what they are capable of doing. Pure street guys rev their modulars to 9500! JESUS lol clearly race engines but im saying they are doing wonders with 285 Cubic inch. Not to get side tracked from the NA discussion but even putting on superchargers... We can pick up 150-200 WRHP at the tire with average of 8-9 lbs of boost on stock motor with the blower not even trying at 8-9 lbs...

Yes S197 parts cost alot more then the older Stangs....But we are making it alot easier too with amazing drivability.
