I'm moving to Langley AFB, VA in a week.

I plan on purchasing a THP single kit pretty soon and looking for a good shop relatively close to do the tuning/install if it proves to be too much for me.

DTP is a great shop (30-40 minute drive from Langley), Brent is a solid dude. Less than a hour stroll up the road from you (in Langley) is Performance Auto Sport in Richmond, they have a 2010 that is sick as hell! ALSO they, much like DTP have been in business for over 11 years. There is A LOT to say about a shop that can't stay open in a military area during the war, so look for longevity. In case you didn't know it that area is the home to JLT as well.

If you want any gouge about where to hang out or crusie ins shoot me a PM. A local board for the area is www.tidewaterracing.com

Best of luck! Hope to see you around the streets when I return states side.

DTP Rocks....Brent picked up like 8 or 9 rwhp hp on my car and 35 ft pound of torque from my pervious tune... The car runs like a champ and I would recommend them to anyone.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!!!!:stfu: I've had a horrible experience with them and they can't weld or follow directions worth a shit.:moon:

You can't go wrong with Excessive motorsports. They do a lot of work on mustangs and especially Termi's.

If you are going to use Excessive, I would not recommend them for any sort of dyno tuning whatsoever. This is just my 2 cents based on personal experience.

For bolt-on related stuff, they are fine.

If you don't mind driving north, take a look into JPC.

I know the guys who work there, and their NMRA wins speak for themselves.

EDIT: Ignore my comment about Excessive, I was thinking of another shop. My mistake.

What about Springfield Motorsports...arent they in northern VA? i know i heard some good things about them...

Of all the shops with "staying power" im kind of surprised DTP would be one still on top....when i lived there MAS was on their way down and Steen was rising.

What about drag strips around here? The only one I've heard of it Virginia Motorsports Park which is about a 2 hour drive.

Yes, Woodbine is a great shop. They are one of our sponsors and service some of our race cars. A top notch shop to say the very least. They are a bit of a drive, but well worth it. JJ is very talented and will take great care of you.

Excessive is also at the top of my list. Those guys do some amazing work. Customer service is 100%. Chris is known as the "Gear God" if you need diff work too... LOL They are about 2 hours north of you.

JPC is good too, but like Woodbine, they are 3 to 4 hours away from you. Not exactly close.

VMP in Petersburg is great. I would recommend VMP or Maryland Int Raceway (MIR). They are both fast tracks. VMP is a touch faster out of the hole though.

Richmond is good too.
