any one using zex?

i have zex kit and i did as the instuctions said i press the reset button on the soilnoid or zmu and hold full throttle for 10 sec i think and soo on...

the problem is every time i power on my zex unit gas poures out of the solnoid when im idleing which causes my car to turn off and make it almost imposible to start.

i cant figure out how to make it work properly,

could it bee that the solnoid is retarded (faulty)?

I think you're supposed to program the WOT switch before you hook up any fuel or nitrous to the management unit.

thats what i did. after that i hookup every thing and same problem happens. i programd it over 10 times and it never worked properly

It happened to me too because I could not read the ZEX instructions properly.

Just follow the instructions

1)turn the ignition ON (don't start the car)
2) arm the ZEX kit.
3) push on the NMU button ( The light should become red)
4) floor the gaz for 10 sec the release. (don't feather it just floor it)
then the light should alternate between red and green after you release the gaz pedal.

AT this point don't turn the ignition OFF.

5) turn the ZEX kit OFF then Back ON (the light should be green now)
6) feather the gaz pedal and then you should hear the solenoides open at 3/4 of the pedal. ( put a rag on the nozzle to avoid fuel spraying everywhere)

Then you can turn OFF the ZEX kit and the ignition and your system will be okay

LET US KNOW HOW IT GOES !

so the first time it shoulf sprat gas?
if it should then i guess mine is fine i did the exact steps as you discribed.
after step 6 when ever you turn on the zex it should not spray gas unless full throtle right?

How do you program that NMU to work with a momentary button..
could you program it with a button and 12V power.. holding the button down as the gas pedal.. Or Could you do the same but with ground.. making it ground switched??

Some you guys are running this with a button right??
