Anyone know anything about this turbo kit?

looking at the pics in the ebay listing.....how can they have a breather filter on the pass valve cover but have a hose from the intake going to the driver cover,that would be bringing in unmetered air....just askin.

I agree I don't like the sts as well... two friends... two sts kits... two blown motors


means it was making enough power ;)

The turbo kit isn't what determines the blown motor. It's like saying " these guys used easton bats and struck out"

true, but there are several things that dont make seance about that kit. like you put the turbos at the back of the car away from the heat (heat is what makes the turbo spool up faster/ harder) you have to use a pump to pump the oil back up to the motor (just another thing to break then you are out of oil) and all of that piping to mess up and leak.

The rear mount turbo idea came about because of the corvette and it's limited room under the hood. It worked fine for me and i never had a problem spooling up / making power. It's one of those things you have to see in person. I'll leave you guys to talk about this as I don't have anything positive to say about on3's kit :deadhorse2:

why wouldnt you do the kit exactly. the only way i wouldnt do a kit and say i wouldnt do a kit is if i have had experience with the kit and know for my self how it is like what i say about the sts, and like everyone else it is just my opinion that i am throwing out there.

Well goodie for you. All I need to do is look at that pile of crap and I can see several things that I simply would not want on my car. Period.

2 1/2" thick intercooler? Seriously? Please.

You need injectors, MAF, B.A.P., and an air filter to complete the installation? Shouldn't that fucker at least come with injectors and an air filter?

If one of your upgrades is a Master Power turbo then just how big of a piece of shit is the standard turbo?

Relocate the power steering reservoir? Relocate the sway bar?

Now let's look at these pics......

Bottom line: Too much shit hanging too low, piss-poor design compromised in the name of low buck sales, and chickenshit components. Next you'll say, but what if I upgrade the turbo, blow off valve, etc, etc, etc.......if you bought a good kit to begin with you wouldn't have to bother. While you may say I have some bias involved in my comments I will refer you to the degree in mechanical engineering I have. I know junk shit when I see it.

Direct and to the point, that's why I ask for your opinion man. I'm holding off on the kit for now and sticking to my original plan, unless another sick deal comes up.

Yup. Hellion copycat. Just like Hellion's twin setup for the Challenger is an Exile copycat. Except that Hellion uses good stuff like Exile did.

Here's where I'm at on this deal: If you want a single turbo system call Mike at Powerhouse. Period. If you want twins give me a call. Simple.

yes the stuff in the kit isnt top notch but the piping is well worth it. and yes it does come with a filter but no fuel (unless you order it from him when you buy the kit) system just like my hellion kit came. i have seen this in person and it doesnt hang as low as my hellion kit. his objective with the kit is to sell to guys that cant afford the hellions, power house, and all the other more expensive kits. if you want to order a turbonetics turbo from him along with a name brand waste gate and bov he will do it. by the way you dont need a new maf. i am still on my stock maf with a mafia and i make 707whp in a 3" id tube blow through. he will put any thing you want in the kit if you ask.
