you dont want a cooler IAT reading, you want an accurate one, consider the consequences of the PCM reading a cooler charge then is really there.

Brenspeed sells a nice kit for like $50 it moves it to the under side of the intake manifold

I also moved mine but only because I'm spraying meth and needed to read the iat after the meth. Pretty easy install. However it's not like previous yrs. One wire you must spice to the maf the other u disconnect completely. Beefcake did a mini write up

You could just buy one of those "150+hp chips" off Ebay that's just a resistor that lowers the IAT reading.

Unless you are boosted, you do not need to relocate the IAT. If you are boosted, and your tuner knows what he is doing, you can incorporate the IAT2 at the ECU like Roush/FRPP kits incorporate.

This is what I do.
