There was a really bad crash at PRP last night. Guy in a mustang got loose at the top end, crashed into the barrier and flipped over into the grass. I had just taken my pass and witnessed the crash very close up as I was on the return road when it happened.
He was a pretty nice guy, I was talking with him for 10-15 minutes before the passes. His car was a red '05 that used to be N/A. I remember it because it was pretty bad ass with a big stage 3 cam, running mid 11's N/A. When talking with him, I noticed he had just added a paxton. His first pass was in the 11.20's and running pretty decent.
Luckily, we were told he walked away from this. He looked to have all the correct safety equipment, Helmet, rollbar, 5 point harness.
