obsessive detail is sexy, the shines ive seen with that are insane
I would be willing to bet that every single person in this thread would go right on over to Autozone and buy the best, yet cheapest wax they could if they were in your position. Financially caring for your family or buying expensive wax? Yeah, even DKS, who is a detailing WHORE that knows his shit, would put family before wax.
But I do get where you're going with this. I have a kid in college, one who is 17 and has braces, and a wife that watches every penny even though we are pretty well off financially.
Show car? What's that? My Bullitt is a daily driver!!!

I've tried a lot of products on my black stang. I think Blackfire Wet Diamond is by far the best with Wolfgang Fuzion a distant second.
That's what I keep trying to tell everybody, lol
I'm going to pick up some of that stuff before I detail my car again. Can you buy it online?
How do you like it?
Not my first time using it or anything. I like it a lot. It applies really, really nice. I feel that it covers better than most waxes. When you swipe the applicator in the can it feels a lot different, seems a lot softer than other waxes. You can apply it thin or thick and it removes just as easy. I find that some waxes apply great using straight lines and some prefer the 'ole circle method with that said, CG 5050 can be applied either way. Applying it in straight lines works just as well and it makes applying it a breeze. The appearance is great as well. A little deeper than something say Meguiars #16.
By hand. I don't apply any paste waxes by machine. I know some guys do but I'm not really too interested in it.
On another thought I do use the DA to remove some waxes that are stubborn to remove like Meguiars #16. I place a MF over the pad and turn it on to remove the majority and than just quickly go over the rest of the car to remove anything else.
