What's the difference between this and the new version?

It is the way that part of the bar is connected. The new design is welded verses being splined. I think the splined version(this version) is considered more desirable for extreme drag racing.

x2 we felt this was a better design. The new bar is also a little lighter. This is a beefy piece:clap:

^ Great offer Jim!

As stated, this is a very good bar. I am bias towards it, but we had to do something about the insane price we had to pay for the splined bar. They shot our cost WAY up....so we decided to build our own, in house. The new design is indeed lighter. As for strength, it is negligible difference....but I like this design Jim is selling, if you guys want to know the truth. I like splined bars.

Will this mess up any street manners on a mustang?

I ran this same bar on my 06 Saleen, the only thing I noticed was the car didnt feel as tight in corners or high speed lane changes. For straight line us it would hook up and go like no body's business!

The only reason we took this off Mikes car was we are going to race NHRA Stock class with the car next and the only approved bar is the Cobra Jet anti roll bar. If NHRA would allow it all our Cobra Jets would be wearing BMR gear!
