"Wreck the car into some ditches?" Is that actually part of your testing?

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 using Tapatalk

Yeah, they run their cars through a ditch near where they work... Part of their durability testing IIRC.

Also, Kelly gave that ditch a Mustang. Ditches love Mustangs!

Axle tube clamps. Interesting design. What differentiates this from a Fays2 type design?

it looks like more adjustability than the fays2, the points on both the axle, and the body can be lowered/raised independent of eachother, also looks beefier. And the propeller is in double shear, opposed to the vastly inferior single shear

So im not too familiar with watts links, do these axle clamps need to be welded or is this a full bolt on deal?
By the looks of this it will not be compatible with an axle brace?

Kelly love the look and clearance of this new design

The number of people running Fays2 Watts links at varying levels of grip is downright astonishing and there hasn't been a single failure of the central bolt. That isn't to say it is a good design, it just is overbuilt to allow for it to be in single sheer.

Full bolt on.

Definitely not compatible with an axle brace.... which I'm sure 10 seconds in the Chit Chat section would yield my opinion on those nearly worthless things.

Techco/Saleen and Lakewood are the two I've seen fail the most. Whiteline had a few failures too but they have supposedly resolved that issue.

How about a video of your durability testing?

Would be cool to see how it's tested.

Unless it's secret and don't wanna show

Ironically, that looks exactly like it.....

Anyhow, I have a few people interested in testing this piece out with Verts.

When I find out more info, I will post!

Thanks!

If everything goes smooth - which, it hasn't much in 2015.....then we are aiming to start production Friday.

The design is done. FINALLY. No changes, no more testing, done!

Not it's "hurry up and wait". ;)

OH...and....I can tell you for 100% fact now, the $550 price tag won't last more than 11 more months. Just throwing that out there.

Can you post a picture of the final revision, and maybe explain the changes for those that have been following since day one.
Very excited for this.
