I'm at 7.5psi on stock 5.4 and scared as shit to add anything more. I'm waiting for the heads and cams to put on the built block sitting in my garage.

He only hit 12psi because his wastegate wont control boost properly, which is why he said he will wait until he gets his new Tial wastegate on to test further. My car has hit 10psi a time or two when I was getting everything dialed in. As long as it doesnt detonate it probably wont come apart if you only did it a couple times for short bursts.
Disclaimer: I am NOT saying to throw 12psi at your stock motor and expect it to live

I asked randy to use some of his data for a comparison, told him I'll post it here but decided to do a separate thread here

This is to show how different maf changes over this same design can help a more proper tuning that will improve overall car behavior and driveability.

edit: corrected the link, thanks David.

Is a matter of taste (and there are some backpressure reducing benefits by having it opened, depending on the kits design), I like mine routed (but did as it should be done, pretty far behind). I did not liked the exhaust leak type of sound.

Like I said, it is the sound of DOIN WORK. lol
You have to hear it in person, if you want to test it out, just unbolt your dumptube and listen to it, it will sound shitty while cruising cause you will have exhaust leaking back from the other side of the wastegate recirculation tube, but at WOT you will hear that lovely dumped WG sound, it is addicting....followed by the sharp WHAPSH of the bov of course :)
