Since my swap a year ago, I've had the occasional question about the motor, and there's not a lot out there . . . and Brenspeed customer service is the WORST. Completely useless.
So, rather than continue to throw stuff out on various threads, I figure maybe one thread is a good way to exchange knowledge and experience with those who have the motor.
Here's my first question:
Anyone got a windage tray in their oil pan? Right now, I have the stock 6 qt pan with the baffle but not windage tray. I want to upgrade to an 8+ qt. Looks like the 13/14 GT500 windage tray is out, so I discounted that whole pan as an option.
Looks like Moroso 20548 might be a winner. But, when I call Brenspeed, they would only say the "company line" is they don't do windage trays with the B326. They used to have a custom one made for the B302, but not the B326. When asked the reason, the guy couldn't tell me.
Anyone have a windage tray working on the B326? I would assume that stroke length (crankshaft clearance) and oil drainback channels are the two main concerns . . .
