Does anyone have pictures of this FRPP intake?
ill answer for him...both the CandL and the FRPP delete the plates with the manifold...there is no need for delete plates if you buy these intakes because they already have the butterflies deleted..
Mine is a stage three car, heads, blower cams and a built motor with all the supporting goodies so it should be very nice. I know of some "testing" on a turbo car but it was a stage 2 car. I am excited to see the results.
Whoot my intake is getting whored out lol
for good measure my old man just ordered a C&L intake manifold... probably going to throw it on his 010 gt with the vortech[/QUO
Matt try that C&l on my car first before you put it on your dads, we can see what gains with N/A compared to your ford intake, lol would be fun to compare, or at least throw it on your car we need to see the difference,

C&L would pay you NOT to do that comparison... not sure they would appreciate another hit to the jaw.
NOT saying it would perform/compare one way or another... just w/ the first release/hype to let down... not worth it.
I dont see them being a popular mod in N/A cars. Our 'Everest' is weight! Even if they do outflow FRPP, the weight vs FRPP will make the decision easy.

By all means... building snowmen HAS to get OLD fast! LOL!
I couldnt NOT do it... Im just voicing my opinion from C&Ls view.
If I were to build a motor for a HIGH N20, THAT would easily be intake of choice (concidering the next option is 2x the price )... or HIGH psi centri/turbo.
I have the PRODUCTION C&L on the car today (after working with 2 preproduction units), and Woodbine Motorsports is making sure the tune is roadworthy (we're not worrying about a dyno at this point). If it wasn't pouring I would be beating the car to death on the roads so that will have to wait until tomorrow.
Sunday is my last day at the track. We'll see...
