Are the 2011 motors 0 balance? Could I pull the pan and swap the rods/pistons after file fitting the rings?

What would be an ideal compression to run with the Kenne Bell? 8:1? 8.5:1?

How much boost could be ran using 91 pump? What kind of hp/tq potential with the increase in boost and drop in compression? Just wondering if it would be worth it.

I would imagine that the motor is internally balanced, but I can't say for sure.

Dropping compression down to 8 or 8.5 will be a huge drop compared to the stock 11:1. You will have to add a good 6-10psi of additional boost to make up for the lower compression (1pt of compression is about the same as 2-3psi of boost). A lot of these cars are running 7-10psi on stock internals. So dropping the compression that much you would have to run 15-20psi just to make up the difference.

How much boost can be ran on 91 pump? That question can't be answered accurately at this time. And not until people start pushing the limits. The tune is what is going to the the deal breaker when it comes to safe boost. Knock is what kills most motors.

My $0.02, if you want to forge the motor and want run lots of boost (16psi or more), I would say 9.5-10 to 1 compression ratio should be sufficient with a good healthy tune. And would recommend 93 octane if its available.

why would you do that when you can see 600ish whp from 6-8 psi with supporting mods on the stock motor?
