Does anyone use any car specific vacuum cleaners? If so, what are you using and how do you like it? I would like to get something pretty small, portable, and powerful without breaking the bank.

Really? A special vacuum for the car? I just use a wet/dry vac with the skinny slot end attachment. Seem sto work fine for me. Plus you can suck up a spill. You can scrub the carpet and suck up the solution. And if you make a mess in the garage, you can clean that up with the vac too.

Yeah but I do a lot of moving (every 3 months or more) and would like something a bit smaller than a normal shop vac that still has some power.

I just use a small "Shop Vac" brand 5 gal / 5.5 hp unit.

Kobalt has a pretty slick set-up that can be mounted on the wall as well.

I have this Kobalt set up. Hangs on the wall near the car, starts and stops with a wireless connection button on the wand. Works really well. Tried a cordless Dewalt vac before, not so good. Don't remember the cost, but I think it was $70 or so.

I have thought about buying it but couldn't justify it when mine works fine. I really, really like the switch being on the wand. It's such a smart feature that just makes damn common sense.

I have a pile of Lowes gift cards. Burned one on both vacs. Switch is real handy.

Picked up this 14 gal shop vac at lowes during their black Friday deal. $29 regularly $69. Works great and rolls around the garage since it's on casters. Already used it to clean out my garage and two cars. Love it since it was such a good deal for my first shop vac
