Car wont idle unless clutch is in!

Okay first of several new build issues is proving to be the biggest head scratcher.
In the tuning process. Car just wont idle, surges up and down - until I push the clutch to the floor. While I hold it there car will idle just fine.

So what gives? Obviously transmission in neutral. I mean the car is on jack stands.
I did a full wire tuck but my connections must be good regarding the clutch otherwise the car wouldn't start lol

ANY ideas?

I had my car running while on jackstands once because I was searching for driveline noise. It ran the same way.

Put your car back on the ground and see if that solves your problem.

No idea why but once i put the drive shaft and calipers back on the things idling okay.. Lol wow
