Looking for opinions here. Im leaning towards changing out my stock H for an o/r prochamber. Im also thinking about going catted but im not sure if its worth it if its only going to be lil louder than stock? Not really going for louder...just a different/better sound. I am currently running sss terminators as axlebacks but will try my stockers to see what will sound better.

This midpipe set up or any midpipe with hi-flows is not talked about too much. I know up until about 2 yrs ago. Mac made a prochamber with CATCO hi-flow cats, but for some reason that set-up stopped being produced. I believe it was Blow by Blow racing that wanted to start selling prochambers with magnaflow hi-flow cats. I guess that never came to fruition.
Prochamber w/hi-flows is a little price option. $389 for the prochamber, $225 for pair of magnaflow cats, about $85-100 to have the cats welded in. That is midpipe that cost nearly $715. Best bet is to pick-up a used prochamber. I bought mine from local seller off craigslist for $250.00. The sound of an o/r prochamber like any midpipe is loud when you compare it to the stock catted H. Believe it or not at certain RPMS all o/r pipes including the prochamber can sound raspy. What did hi-flows actually do for the sound. The volume is in between the stock H and the o/r prochamber- just loud enough. Cleaned the sound up were it didn't sound as raspy and compared to the o/r prochamber it gave it a deeper tone. I also got back the back pressure that I was missing with the o/r midpipe.

Summary:
Prochamber w/hi-flows is a little expensive $710-720 parts and labor. Buy a used one if you can.
Volume is just right (of course that also depends on your axlebacks)
Any lack of back pressure will be resolved when adding hi-flows.

Rico, it depends on your mods. Are you FI or NA?

For me, I'll never put cats back in, except for the 1 day of the year when I get my state inspection.

Sutton performance is selling catted prochambers...not sure if there own set up or straight from Mac. Im N/A right now...im kinda concerned with the "man" and my neighbors. I was also looking at the bassani or magnaflow catted x pipe as well but from the videos ive heard the o/r prochamber doesnt seem that loud. But since they are only videos that is why im asking the question.

I assume you are talking about my video from AFM.com. Trust me you cannot go off that video. That was shot with a fuji digital camera. It will be louder than the stock catted H pipe.

What axlebacks do you have? A friend of mine is running MAC L/T, O/R Prochamber and MAC axlebacks. It sounds good. It has a hollow sound similar to the 2v set-up.

I have flow masters right now, but i am looking for another set of mufflers right now. I want to hear some different combos but i definitely want to swap the flows. I might try the macs if it sounded that good.

Get that damn o/r pc mang!!! lol. I was considering splicing high flow cats into an o/r pc (ended up loving it without the cats so never bothered) I have pics of a o/r pc with cats spliced in, another forum member sent them to me. He never welded them, just clamped them. Not sure about leaks, but he said it was good. I will post them in a minute. Another CMC bro is selling highflow cats at a good price. Check out the for sale section.

That looks nice and shiney. I have listening to alot magnaflow catted x videos and they sound pretty good too. A little deeper than the Basssani. Anyone running a mag catted X?

I was thinking of swapping my catted prochamber for a catted X pipe just to get a different sound, but I am content with my set-up. Besides, my set-up is not nearly as common as the X-pipe, straight thru axleback set-up.

Not as deep as the pc ;) . I almost went with the catted x.

Do you have any clips of your set up mike? I was looking at getting an off road pro chamber chamber to compliment my Mac axle backs as well. How loud is it in person? Put it this way most days I leave the house at 5:30 A.M.,would it piss off my neighbors?

That set-up wouldn't be too loud. In fact I think my set-up (Prochamber hi-flows, magnapacks) is louder than my friends (O/R prochamber, L/T, MAC), or it could that his has more of a "hollow" sound. Don't get me wrong, his set-up sounds awesome.
