haha, raising some chicks...got some Roosters in there for the neighbors, lol.
Suburban Chicago to boot. Damn things are messy in the house (cardboard-box brooder), building a coop for my new friends...hand feeding them always
to create good pets, and later I'll rob them of their eggs!
So far the dog is OK with this, but watching her close...might want to eat one prematurely.

Yea, mine is basically a lap dog, never killed anything. But she does tear into deer hides to eat that thin layer of fat.
