Cobra Jet drag springs

Well, my verdict, even though I don't understand why, is that these springs work.

I 60' last night a 1.432, a 1.427, a 1.438 vs an all time best with this car of a 1.424. But, I am running a 29 tall slick now which is over 1 inch taller then the M&H I was running.

So, they are working good. Car #31

Did I miss something? Your 60s last night look to be on par with your previous PB. Or would you expect them t be worse because of the taller tire?

Exactly these are on par with a PB meaning he is getting all his 60's where his previous best was , then that is added to the fact he went up 1" in tire diameter ( which cuts down your effective gear ratio some )

Damn this thread is still running! THE V6 SPRINGS WORK. I fitted a set of 'stock' V6 springs to the rear of my 305whp bolt on car with a zex 100shot. I have a BMR extreme anti roll bar, 4.10's and QA1 singles. My best 60 was 1.74 on the same set up with M&H 275s.

Last time out I ran 1.74, 1.78, 1.64; best 1/4 ET was 12.16@112; 7.75 and 90.5 in the 1/8th. The car is running on M&H325s now, only springs and tyres have changed. FWIW, the whole set up is now alive, hard to explain but I felt I could just keep getting harder and harder on the gas. I broke the UCA which stopped play but Ill be back soon. The ride height is stock - 73.5cms/29.4". So happy. The srings I had before were BMR lowering springs.

Back on topic, I've installed my springs as well. Raised my rear end a good 1" from the Steeda Ultralites I had on there. Not a bad thing until they settle as there wasn't much room between the DD 305s and the wheel well. Will be going to the track in Sep, but I'll see about testing them on some side roads around here.

Damn Dave, I didn't know you were at Bitburg before. One of the flight line taxi ways is used as a dragstrip now, albeit only one weekend per month which sucks but better than nothing.

hahaha I used to guard Nuclear alert F15 D models at the Zulu alert facility on the end of the runway closet to spang...Thats was the takoff end and the other end pointed toward Trier highway 51 I beleive it was. I used to go to a little cowboy bar over in Speicher and get the best Spae'lace in the word.
I guess its off topic...but geeeez those were the good ole days.
To make it topical...lol I carried my first mustang, a 1971 Mach 1 to Germany and had to go to all the way up to Bremerhaven to get it...Imagine that 1982 and a 71 Mach 1 tearing up the autobahn

Thats incredible; 100% of those who have put these springs on have seen an improvement. Im off to York (UK) in a few weeks which is a known slippy track as it is never glued and is quite a poor surface. I am keen to see if they help the M&H tires hook up there. Im pleased for you man, it feels good when something goes right on these cars without costing $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$? eh!

seems like every one is loving these springs.
looks like i may pull the sportlines out and put my stock v6 springs back in durinf racing season.. lol glad i kept them.

i just hate how high the car will sit, may even put my v6 bumpers back on, an some stock mufflers and my 16's....that confuse some folks.

Ok here is one My 2010 Deluxe has rear spring part number AR33-5560-DB with a Gold tag and SDR as the three letter code. Any idea what these are?
