Do you think I would've felt the clutch not disengaging? Like I said above the shop said my blocking rings were shot due to a clutch disengagement issue. It shifted great with no issues right up til it started grinding into 2nd gear..

Mine is right on the edge and needs to be shimmed. You can’t “feel” that it’s harder to shift unless you pay REAL close attention. Mine clutch disengages pretty well when things are cold, but when it heats up it has a slight drag to it when trying to get it into 1st and reverse. It will still shift when warm but it takes a tiny bit more finesse to snap quick ones off. I’m positive I’m not doing my trans any good.
I just got a 6060 so I get to start from scratch with that. This whole “shim to fit” thing is a HUGE PITA.
