Thanks guys. Editing it really made the time pass on that long drive.

I'd really hate to guess. This is my first mile and I don't claim to be an expert. This is the same exact car that we had at Bradenton, zero changes. The idea was, this is a street car with some good tires on, no aero, no boost control, just mash the pedal when you think the tires will hold and hold the #### on.

Now that we show this basic approach is good for 200+, I'm ready to start getting serious with every little trick in the book. But I wanted to get this done as basic as possible.

I may have been the only car there with zero tape on it. lol I even left the antenna on. :naughty1:

The video had some good editing for sure. I wish I had that skill. I don't remember the ~hp/trq numbers you got with 17lb. For what it is either way that thing is moving. I ordered my qtp today thanks to you. Where did you choose to bring the wiring into the cabin?

Thanks! Jake installed them, I think they come through the firewall on the passenger side.

Here are some awesome photos that Danielle Perez took of the Twin Turbo 5.0 while at the Texas Mile. This hanger was just off to the side of the return road.

Thanks, we took it for a spin for the first time in awhile on the street this evening. It's soooo fast on 14 psi. Definitely need a boost controller that we can ramp the boost in with. Any more than that it blows the tires off at 70 MPH on the hit. Can't wait to dial in the boost and ramp it in. But even on 14 psi, this car would be tough to be on the highway.

H&R Springs

It now has CHE lowers, BMR upper and a panhard bar that I'm not sure of the brand. Also have strange double adjustable shocks. Have the struts to match with CC plates but haven't had time to put those on.

Nice photoshoot.

Are you planning to come up to the 5.0 shootout in Sept Ken? I know its a hike....but the car def has a shot to take home the win.....and a lot of publicity for the new kit.

Fastest 5.0 Coyote Mustang GT

It has been quite a March for the Twin Turbo 5.0. First we went to Bradenton and ran a stellar 9.42@150 and then headed to the Texas Mile this last weekend. We decided no to use any tape or any special launch methods including boost control to see if we could break the 200 MPH barrier just by going to the line and rolling into it. I’ll have a full recap of the weekend later but wanted to get the video posted. We were all shocked when the car ran 206.2 MPH with only 17 psi. That makes us the fastest 5.0 Coyote in the Mile and one of the fastest Mustangs in the Mile ever.
