The manifold came yesterday. It was prepped except for the water adapters. They were picked up today and added. As of right now the manifold is bolted down to the motor.
A few things that happened along the way:
The custom fuel line that I had fabbed and tested wouldn't fit. I couldn't get the lock to thread because the fitting was riding the fender. Here is a pic from the wheel well with the liner removed.
This is how the fitting looks:
I ended up reusing the stock line but only the fittings. They are used with 5/16" multi fuel compatible fuel injection line.
Here's how it looked prior to installation today:
This was the nemesis of the day. The driver side water fitting was riding the a/c block and line. A lot of dremel action on the fitting and several test fits before it fit without contact.
The supercharger snout was put back on yesterday. I sealed it up even though the machining was so good it probably wasn't needed. Still need to cut the bottom tab off of it.
Here's how it looked at the end of the day. I'm going to reposition the coolant line in the front. If I move it over there will be enough room to protect it with sleeving.
More to come. The goal is to have it running on Saturday. The biggest time consumer so far has been obtaining and putting together the parts that don't come with it. Actually the most time has been spent swapping long tubes for short tube headers but that wasn't really part of a normal supercharger install.
