What I find interesting is a report on a 69 Z28 that has a weight with driver of 3220lbs with 488 gears and a dyno rear wheel numbers of 360/360 doing low 11s. There has been reports of 2018 Mustang GTs doing over 400 rear wheel HP at 3900 lbs with driver just getting into the 11's. I have my 2014 Mustang GT down to CAT SCALE 3440 lbs without driver 1/4 tank of gas with run flat tires and no spare and a few other mods. It seems to run very strong.

That's around 410 hp and 400 lb-ft at the crank. What kind of power were you expecting? Those seem like decent numbers to me.

There are not very many stroked 4.6 engines here. The expense versus the gains are not great. The same money used to build the stroker and set it all up right will put forced induction on the stock engine to often better results.

But for a N/A stroker engine I think you did pretty well. My opinion anyway.

Same dyno? Similar ambient temp? Wheels, gearing, driveshaft the same. A 50 hp gain for 20 more cubic inches and a set of street oriented cams seems reasonable.
FWIW I had a pushrod 5.0L with cam, headers, cobra intake, CAI, and GT40 heads it made a whopping 267 rwhp on a superflow eddy current dyno. (Similar to a mustang dyno)
Had a pushrod 5.8L with 10:1 compression, small solid roller cam (ie way bigger than hot rod cam specs) ported Trickflow heads, full length hooker headers, etc. It made 388 rwhp on a dynojet through an AOD transmission.
So for a mild NA 5.0L 3v your numbers seem about right.

Nitrous likes higher compression. Your comp would be better suited for FI in my opinion. Not to say nitrous won’t work fine.

Look into wastegated setups for your Procharger plan. Sounds like a nice car.
