Has anyone ran E85 with stock injectors? I hear the stock injectors start to max around 7-7500.

I presume you have a Coyote - stock set up other than fuel change has been done

if you start adding power you'll need upgrades

If its just a bolt on coyote, thats rev'ing to 7000 rpm, I'd get FRPP 47lb'ers for e85.

The stock coyote fuel pump is a beast.

for sure,

if you think there is any chance of going f/i in the future, i'd step up to the id1000's, you'll be good for whatever you want to make

Instead of starting a new thread, I'm bumping this one because it's as close to what I was looking for as I could find....

So I found out an E85 station opened up not too far from my home.

It has me thinking about switching to E85 once my bolt-ons are done and I start to actually get this Coyote tuned. I'll have Long Tube Headers, Catless X-pipe, Airaid CAI, Axel-backs....

Is the consensus to upgrade injectors no matter what? I am looking to go FI later on at some point (supercharger) so I'm thinking it would be best to get the injectors out of the way now. ID1000's fine for bolt-ons or is it too much for what I'll have at first?

I'm running stock coyote 34lb injectors with e85 and 322 cubic inches. However, I can increase my fuel pressure in the tune. The coyote has regulated fuel pressure.

Others have said that the 5.0 needs larger injectors but if it was me I'd give the stock ones a try. They work just fine for my 3v and e85.

Edit: At high load I have a commanded pressure drop of 58psi. What is the coyote stock psi? Is it 55psi? If so then it should work.

Depends on your tuner also. Might want to ask them what they recommend. Some wont tune unless you have at least 47# injectors.
