Awesome! I love running on E85. And don't be shy messing with timing either..I have had 25.5* of timing at 14psi of boost on my 11:1 engine without issue. E85 loves timing.

I have been keeping mine at 23* of timing at WOT all year.

i was very surprised to make a pull last night and not see any issues with the timing, usually it pulls a few degrees here and there, i think that's why it felt so smooth!

I have been thinking of doing this. I already have fuel pumps, BAP, upgraded rails, 60s, and an upgraded fuel lines from Jeremy. Is changing the stoich a big deal and can it be done with a hand held tuner? BTW, it is whippled as well.

The handheld can't change the stoich, that must be done with actual tuning software.

And depending on your boost, the 60's will be on the edge and you will most likely need the fuel pressure raised to compensate.

you better believe it, I've had a grin on my face since last night, even woke up an hour early for some reason.

For some reason people just don't want to believe that the fuel makes more power. They get hung up on btu's. When I first did it with the whipple all that was changed was stoich and it made 45 or so more rwhp up top, torque increased everywhere and the highest gain was 75rwhp at 5k rpm. This was with the same 17 degrees of spark advance it had been running with gasoline.

Glad to see you finally made the switch. I'd be willing to guess that you won't notice much of a mpg difference with your setup when driven aggressively. You can also change the temp spark is pulled at. Since it doesn't detonate mine was usually set around 150-175 iirc. They were temps I never saw anyway.
