Finally got mine mounted! They are just a tad under 28" tall mounted with 32psi in them. Me likes!

Why is a 28" diameter front required ? Is it to lift the nose up a bit, and shift weight back a bit for drag racing ?

A Nitto-555 in a 255-45-18 format... on a 9" wide rim is aprx 26.97" diameter. Plenty of clearance below...( including lowering the eng .25" with steeda eng mounts).

Did you even read the op? Maintain ride height and not scrape the front bumper for lowered guys. This is for skinny drag rims/tires, not street radials. The only other option for 17" front skinnies is a 26" tire which actual measure 25.5"ish mounted which is way low up front.

Let's get some pictures of these mounted on the car!
:worth:

Coming soon!

Can you post a pic of them on the car from the side, and a shot taken from down the side to see if/how much they protrude from the front fender?

Thanks, they look great. Definitely the best option for front skinnies.

They performed great on the track as well, did have a little steering wheel vib on heavy braking, but my old bias ply fronts were a lot worse. They feel great on the street as well drove around 400 miles on them round trip to and from the track no issues.

That's the main reason I am looking at them. I want to drive my skinnies on long trips to Northern Ohio to race.
