Congrats! I started with a non cooled vortech and called up brenspeed to see if they can hook me up with an air to air intercooler kit and got a good deal so I went for it. That was 3yrs ago lol. I have no issues with my centri, pita to change the serpentine belt though.

I was going to with the cxracing kit myself. I have some research to do, I know the paxton Paxton intercooler kit is good but $1700 seems high. James do you revall what you payed? Also bruce that's good to know, when I go intercooled I didn't want to have to tow it to kurgans.

Have you gotten a price from Beefcake on an intercooled Paxton tuner kit? You might be surprised on how much you will save buying the whole thing through him vs adding a Paxton/Vortech air to air later.

Just ordered my paxton throwback kit from brenspeed! Really excited (fiance not so much) about going f/I. After 4 mustangs this will be my first supercharged car. I'd like to hear how everyone likes their centris.

Good pickup man. Hope you post some install shots and a writeup if you got time. Already searched the others

They don't do the tuner kits. They're big on Roush blowers and some Ford Racing Whipple kits, but no standalone Whipples.

Brenspeed is all about selling leftover Saleen shit for full price.lethal had a good sale on whipples and in think american muscle with the discount will get you a good price too.

I checked with him a few months ago, not for a tuner kit though, and his prices we re about the same as brenspeed for what I bought. I got a pretty good deal with what they did for me and kit being on sale.

The basis of my setup is the 'Throwback' Paxton kit. I've added a lot to it, but the price was right at the time and the car runs pretty good now.

Yep, adding the intercooler after adds to the cost.

On the base non intercooled kits we have them really cheap.

^^^^^^

Terry has a real good price on the Paxton non intercooled tuner kit. I'd post what I paid two years ago but it's well below map pricing. I'll just say that it's worth your while to call him and get a price before buying somewhere else.

Yeah I thought about that but going intercooled is actually about the same price. After the 1st of the year thats going on and a smaller pulley. Shooting for 450ish.

Did Beef hook you up? He's got some of the lowest prices on name brand stuff I ever heard.
I know he treated me right! Congrats on the purchase. Build thread soon?

I went through brenspeed. They got me a pretty good deal. Doug there has spent multiple hours on the phone with me answering questions and giving advice so I had no problem giving them my business. Im sure Beefcake is awesome as well, I will be going to him for my race stars when they come out with 18" fronts
