Copy of dyno runs coming soon...

1st Pull: 545/432 :wtf:
2nd Pull: 530/417 (adjusted the a/f curve a little)
3rd Pull: 518/404 (pulled a safe amount of timing out)
This is on 8-9 psi of boost. So will be calling Procharger to get a much bigger pulley to force 5-6 psi of boost and hopefully get it down to 440 to the tire.

Is the dyno caliberated correctly? What are your engine mods besides the Procharger?

Yeah the dyno is good. HPP Racing (a sponsor here) tunned it. Well technically Manny at HPP tuned it. Just does incredible work and tried like hell to bring it down. He felt it was the cams driving the sharp increase in hp to the tire.

My numbers were exactly the same as your's now pre Stage II Procharger set up. Cam, springs, cmdp's, full exhaust. Manny is honestly really really good at what he does!

I'm assuming stock internals aside from the cams and thats why you want less power out of it.

I've heard nothing but good things about Manny and HPP. Might have them do some work on my car when i get back from Iraq.

Damn... Well that suck. I am also looking to be around 450 rwhp on 8psi with a centri... Except I also have the c&l intake manifold. It might Impossible to stay under 500:(

I've got c&l manifold, comp stage 2 spr's(127500's), Mac lt's, steeda udp's, and jlt cai for engine mods.

I'm scared now.

How high are you turning the motor ?

I know a few that have lived with 480 rwhp to 515 for over 3 years no problem . Timing and rpm's kill the stock motors.

Manny is a hell of a tuner, but his dyno is "generous".

And FWIW, HPP is not a SV here. I've been trying to make that happen for a couple of years now. Wade signed up way back when, made a couple of posts, and that was about it.

Hmm well that sucks. Thought Manny was a sponsor on here. Yeah I know his dyno is generous to a degree but not more than 15-20 rwhp and thats pushing it. Its been on other dyno's (pre boost) and pretty much put around the same rwhp as Manny's. Doesn't matter though as new pulley is on order from Procharger to reduce the boost. Get me back in the "mildly safe zone".

I was 528, pulled some timing out (3* from WOT) now around 500. Am thinking of going to around 465 to 475. Is a auto and stock bottom end. I'm at 11lbs now, so you you should be good up to 480. From what I have seen around here on a DynoJet stock bottom ends (the shitty rods) don't like over 11 to 12lbs and too many revs. We have 93 oct here but ya never know what you get. I lost a motor to bad fuel. But really, its all in the tune. Good luck!!

We have 93 here as well. Reducing the boost to 6lbs and hopefully will be around 450. Will just save for a built block and go from there.
