Gratz and nice numbers! Just be careful. At only 450/405 I snapped my input shaft. No car for almost 2 weeks. Good luck!

Its very fun. With the gears, its hard not to laying into the throttle. The power comes on so fast and the whine is music. I installed a mild audio system and I have yet to try it because I'm still listening to the car. lol.

lol let me quess high rpm drop + slicks/radials? that'll do it

Thats what I was thinking. I like to keep the rpms under 6k for safety and nothing sticker than my NT-05s. I just like to have a nice streetable machine.

They break free still, but grip good if I roll and ease into it. But I think they are much better than the 555s I ran on my 2001 GT.

I haven't taken the traction control off yet, so I bet it would make for a good show.

Great numbers. I have a the same 3.25 pulley and it was showing 13 psi on the dyno at JDM on a 65 deg rainy day. I was surprised! I have a VMP tune and it put down 501hp and 476 trq. rev limit was at 6500. Great numbers enjoy the whipple sound. The only drawback is any more power gains are extremely expensive with little gains.

All you really need to do is keep putting on smaller pulleys, as you can reach 600 whp at about 18 psi on the stock heads/cams. Of course, you'll need to swap the shortblock.

I guess you're right in that it takes about $3500-$5000 to extract that last 100 whp.

But you have to build the motor with any setup to run 600+ rwhp, not just with a Whipple.

forged short block... and unless you can deal with swapping a motor and these OHC and have all the tools, you need to farm that out. So figure at least... at least 5K for a motor... that just allows you to run more boost. Long Tube Headers? 1.5-2K for some Kooks w/cats and install and you need to be retuned..,maybe worth 20-40 at best. Ported heads? 2K for 40+ hp.

Thats all Im saying... to get to a higher level of power you need to spend serious bucks. the 3.25 pulley is about max on a stock block... you can probably push more, but it gets into the risky zone.

If you are into drag racing your car money is probably better spent on a good rear suspension and tires, gears, clutch, input shafts, reduce weight, etc to make use of that power.

I agree...past this power level it isn't worth the money to get more power. I'm planning on drivetrain mods to make use of what's already there. Then when that isn't enough hopefully somebody will be doing something with the new 6.2 that will be worth the bucks.

Anybody know what power level the tr-6060 can handle safely??

I'm thinking about ditching the 3650 and going with the 6060 with 4.56 rear gears.
