I fish bass tournaments hence the name :) Also build a few custom rods and do repairs. I was crazy about it for a while but I stress to much about it to make it fun. So I just build when someone asks rather than trying to get new customers.

I'm located 1hr from Grand, 1.5ish from table rock, 2-2.5 from lake of the Ozarks to give an idea of what I'm surrounded by.

It's just another way to keep me moar poor!

Going fishing this week down in Bryan/College Station. Hoping to have something worthy of take a picture of.

Here's a pretty good sized sandbass I caught a couple of weeks ago.

Hann Creek off of lake Whitney in Morgan Texas.

I know Lake Whitney well. I live 20 miles from there. Not sure that I know the where abouts of Hann Creek though. Morgan is about a 45 minute trip for me.

My biz partner writes websites and is also a big bass fisher so he started angler hub for a place to check trails, fishing gear and just show off what you have pulled in.

He has done a few nice "fishing" websites such as http://www.chargerfc.com/ & http://www.futurebasstrails.com/

Sweet. Ill check them out for sure when I get home.

I like to drink beer and like to eat fish... does that count?

Only time I have had good luck fishing was Salmon fishing off Queen Charlotte Island. This I will chalk up to great guides... Below is a 32lb King/Chinook Salmon... Best one of the trip was 39lbs. All in all it was a great trip, came home with 110lbs of Chinook, 45lbs of Coho, and 40lbs of Halibut... I ate like a king for the rest of the year! :beerdrink:

My dad charters our boat. We do tuna and sharks. Gotta go about 120 miles off of Long Island to get to the good fishes.

Just waxed the boat yesterday, should go in the water next week after the bottom gets painted ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21368599425.455235.jpg

Wish I had time to fish anymore....

Jarrod, I used to hit the sandbass HARD when I lived in Texas.

Lake Lavon, Lake Texoma and Lake Tawakoni were my hot-spots......I would catch atleast 50, sometimes even hundreds......each outing.

My sandy lure of choice:

I love fishing Lake Texoma. I generally only fish for black bass, but I enjoy fighting with hybrids and sandbass.

As simple as this spoon lure is, it works. This is the lure of choice for hybrids.

My buddy and his kid filled three stringers in forty minutes last weekend at Texoma when the sandies were running.
