I have a Tiger racing hood and love how it looks and functions. Unfortunately this is the only true vented hood for our cars (that looks cool in my opinion). I have though always had a soft spot for the Brandon Davis hood and wide body kit on the 07 car. Their car is the inspiration for my build. I had hit them up years ago wondering if they would be interested in selling some parts or if they were ever gonna mass produce for public sale. They said they were not going to be producing it for the public.
Here are a couple of pics of my ride all I need is a bottom front splitter under the stock one and to continue the blue highlight line. to the front. I would though also love a real rear diffuser to replace the stock mock piece. Just not sure how to go about that project.

Car looks great! Its unfortunate that they're not willing to do so. Maybe we can get roadracer to make us some out of carbon fiber... lol :naughty1:

I would really like some side and rear splitters for our body style

APR makes side skirts. They make a rear diffuser too but it's garbage. The only diffuser that I've seen come out good involved moving the gas tank. Then you wind up with exhaust out the side, which is cool. Then after you done that you mine aswell do the entire under side. I would call it "major" to do it right.

Why would the gas tank need to be moved? Unless youre planning on putting strakes on the axle, a diffuser shouldnt be a problem. You would need to move the evap stuff under the wheel well and potentially get some different mufflers though. I would love to run a fuel cell and exhaust out the side though. So many badass things that I cant justify for a street car...

I guess I got that idea from Agent 47 when I called them wanting the rear diffuser they used on one of there Hunter's that was in a magazine. That's what they told me.

I could see making the bottom flat like agent 47 did, but not a diffuser. In any case, its strange nobody makes anything worth a damn. The import market has shit out the ass. I guess thats because imports are notorious for body kits. My plan is to eventually get a gt500 rear and extend the fins on that down and back toward toward the axle. I'll probably leave it at that as far as sealing up the underside, but who knows? I'd surely love a widebody kit like that ACS mustang though.

I think once I get my exhaust and driveshaft installed I am going to skin the entire bottom and make a diffuser for the rear. I may even do the exhaust out the side. Decisions decisions?

Should work, feels like it works, meets the design requirements. Just too hard to make and sell at a reasonable price would have to have a mold made or something.

Right there with ya buddy! If I was still n/a Id totally go for something like that. Hell, maybe I could do something like that for the blower intake too. Hmm... lol For now, I plan to add ducting and run it up to a sealed airbox

Were running a sealed airbox that is ducted to the PS turn signal location (removing the turn signal) on my car. That opening has more square mm than a 6" tube so it will flow plenty of air to feed 1200+hp.

Thats a good idea. Im might have to cut up my extra turn signals for this. Do you have any pictures? What airbox are you using? Im thinking of getting a stock 2007 gt500 box but i wonder if the flat filter is less efficient that the conical one.

Are they mufflers or resonators?

Mufflers. The "tips" are resonators (it's the Pypes Super System).

Cut up the turn signal, I'm removing it completely! I'll run a "marker light" somewhere else.

No pics, we just got started on this winters build yesterday.

Were making a complete airbox from scratch. Not sure what I'm going to do about a filter. Round or flat????

I was think.of using the.old.signal housing as the basis for a duct that ill put in when i go to the track. Or i could be permanent and i could put a marker light in the headlights like the new cars.

Where do I get a hood like that!!!????

I need a GT500 style one though so I can clear my 3.4L Whipple!:thumb2:

3.4 huh? You know your just asking for problems. Looking for 1200rwhp?

That hood is available from Agent 47. It's not on their website.
