It's almost as though im gaining momentum.

Couple of questions. Why didnt my valve cover gaskets fit? There were 2 little half moons on each of em. Cut them off and they seemed to work. Anyone know if they ever changed the valve cover design 05-10? Im assuming no since aftermarket covers say 05-10. We shall see how that pans out when i start it up.

Next question, im almost at the point of putting the supercharger head unit on. Can i reuse that gasket on the intake manifold (top of manifold to blower)? Or do I replace it?

Can't answer the valve cover gaskets. The only time I had them not fit I had reused them several times which caused them to stretch.

I always reused the Whipple gasket when I could. I also put down a thin layer of orange high temp rtv.

oh, rtv huh...not a bad idea. yea the gasket looks perfect, thats why i figured i could reuse. I have black rtv that i generally use for everything but exhaust. any reason not to use that?

worked on it a little yesterday. drilled and threaded the back of the intake manifold and installed the relocated IAT sensor. Also put new o rings on my 60 pound injectors and put them on the manifold with the rails. Thats where the problem starts. Theyre taller than the ones I had previously from the whipple kit. I searched around and its clearly a known problem, but I havent seen any solutions other than buy gt500 60 pound injectors. Does anyone have any experience with the FRPP gt500 rail spacers? I read that they work, but may cause leaks because of the change in angle of the injectors. Any ideas? Id love to avoid buying more injectors and selling these if I can.

I am pretty sure the only option is to get the shorter length injectors. I wouldn't risk changing the angle of the injectors after all of the time and money you have into the car.

yea that seems to be the prevailing solution. gAd dammit!

Ive gotten in touch with my future tuner at JPC. Theyre reccomending these injector dynamics 72lb units. Pricey but allegedly tune better and are of course, the right height.
Waiting to decide if im going to do rails and fuel lines too. Will advise.

Well I decided to take the advise of JPC and buy the ID 72lb injectors, along with a set of rails and respective fuel lines for the rails. Also have brisk plugs coming.

Decided against using the whipple TB so that will be up for sale, as well as the EV6 60# injectors. For this go round im gonna stay with stock TB, stock supercharger plenum. Just keeping the cost down. Also that way I can add parts later and see the results.
