I just can't stop watching that tank suck in like that. It happens so fast. I would love to see it in person.
A mud puddle. Hhhhmmmm....so you're suggesting he is the single-celled, lower IQ life form seeping from the primordial ooze?I like it better this way SD....
Everyone is for sure entitled to their own opinion.
That said, if I'm not mistaken, the Ferrari 430 used cast aluminum intake manifolds, one for each bank. Same goes for the new 458, it also uses aluminum. I know Porsche also has been using cast aluminum manifolds for a long time. I'll have to look into it more.
Edit: The Gallardo uses cast aluminum manifolds too. I certainly remember a few hypercars using carbon composite intakes, and I know the BMW M V8s and V10s use a BASF fibre glass reinforced plastic, but it would seem that aluminum is still the preferred material for most production supercars.

I just can't wait to see what happens when someone running 14 psi or so on a centrifugal slams the throttle blades shut at the finish line. If it's flexing this much under simple vacuum conditions.........

FRPP intake = Check
Centri = Check
15lbs = Check
shit for luck= Check
Ohhh fuck.. come on now!! haha.. first you make me feel like pissed $525 and now my cars going to blow up!!!
F that.. I'm not installing this thing tell this gets cleared up.. I already beta tested enough for you people.. I just got the car running right after years and now I'm going to blow up!!!!![]()

Hey Ted, send me your and I will pressure test it to 7000rpm and 27psi and see what happens on the dyno!
this is hopefully a joke. as for anyone who doesnt get it. 2 bar equals a hair over 29 psi. so this was a joke. i hope. a sad sad attempt at a joke.

If run conditions were different enough it could very well account for the a 0.3psi difference. One run during the heat of the day and the other in the evening after a cool front blew through? It's hard to say without knowing the run conditions.How the fuck does the boost INCREASE twenty pulls after installing a HIGHER FLOWING INTAKE MANIFOLD????????

Boost should have dropped after the install. However, this graph shows it has increased. Pulley change perhaps? Could that be where the increase from 4K on up came from?
Couple days huh? And no it won't.Thats because its only been a couple days, give it time, it will fail.
